We often think of our neck or back pain being due to a trauma, or repetitive motion, or bad genes, and on and on. Most of these aggravating factors or causes are either out of our control or a physical trauma.
Often, however, our neck pain may be aggravated by or brought on by chemical factors. What I mean is toxins in the body that hinder healing or disrupt organ or tissue function.
A problem in an organ or system in the body can trigger what I call a reflex subluxation in the spine. In other words, irritation to an organ in the body can actually cause misalignments in the spine and therefore nerve pressure.
This being said, try to avoid obvious toxins to the body which include smoke, poor water, pesticides, medications over a long period of time. I only named four, but there’s many more. Here’s some tips I recommend- if you have chlorinated water, drink bottled spring water. Avoid a lot of processed foods and avoid medications over long periods of time. Wash and dry fresh fruits and vegetables and avoid soaps, perfumes, and detergents with lots of additives and extra chemicals.
