The answer is: Yes! I’ve talked to a number of people over the years where this was the case. I used to know someone who actually got a migraine headache when a storm was coming.
What exactly happens?
Gravity pushes down, and your spine and discs compress slightly. This slight compression causes nerve pressure and we get a symptom. It’s only a tiny bit so maybe it affects the sinuses and causes a headache in the front of the head. Maybe you already have a knee with some damage and a very slight pressure change cause some pain there?
Keeping your spine and joints healthy may help to prevent this occurrence. We all sit a lot and using something like the “sitback rest”, keeps our back in good alignment and prevents pain.
