Every morning as part of my stretch routine I do trunk twisters, half neck rolls, knee, ankle, and wrist rolls. A good way to move and warm up body are to do these. You must loosen the muscles but the joints too.
Now this doesn't mean you can't get injured.
Look at Daniel Craig - he's in shape, works out, warms up, but recently had to get knee surgery because of an injury... Look at the action scenes these days. When Sean Connery did Bond, I don't think the action scenes were like this? So you can loosen up and warm up as much as you want, but you still have to be very careful in what you do (of course in this instance it may have been more the director's or scene coordinator's fault... Loosening upbefore going into any activity does prevent injuries however!
